Classes for kids are specialized for family or learning pod. Limit is 6 kids at a time. Art Studio space is outside, under a car port and canopy tents. Each child will have his/her/their own work station. Masks will be worn at all times. Social distancing enforced. At least one parent from family or learning pod must volunteer to assist. Flexible scheduling for family and learning pods.
If transportation is difficult, I am open to coming to your home as well – must have large outdoor area.
My teaching philosophy is:
Art is not about the finished product, as much as it is about the experimentation and the process. In my classes the children learn that there’s no such thing as “bad” art – rather the tools of art (the canvas, the paint, the brushes, etc…) are merely helping us to self-express, gain confidence, and above all, have fun.
Art classes include such topics as color theory, texture making, experimentation with various painting tools, collage making, and more.
Specialized, one-time events:
$70 per child, includes art supplies – canvas, brushes, paint, paper, pencils, pastels, crayons, and more.
1. Can be specialized around a special occasion like a birthday party for 2-3 hours.
2. Can schedule around learning pods. Bring your pod for a morning or afternoon – and let’s learn and create art!
Weekly classes for four week blocks (2 hours per block)
$150 per child, includes art supplies – canvas, brushes, paint, paper, pencils, pastels, crayons, and more.
Starting Tuesday, September 15, I can work with your family and/or learning pod to schedule a series of 4 four-week classes. Let me know what day of the week and times work best. I’m totally flexible in schedule and can work around your needs.
