30-Day Abundance Mindset Challenge

While waiting these past few months to move into our permanent office, the staff at the non-profit we created has scattered our work between home, libraries, and temporary co-working space. Files, printers, ink, labels, envelopes, and other necessary office supplies and work related stuff have been scattered around my home – and I’ve managed to work around the chaos of my cats and the rest of my not-so-tidy lifestyle.

My little corner desk….

It was with much joy, therefore, this past couple weeks to load up my car with all the office stuff, drive to Pittsboro and unpack into our new office! It’s small, and there’s three of us – and we’re working together to bring balance and harmony to the space – and unpacking a few special personal objects in order to add color and joy to the new space, while honoring different aesthetic sensibilities that each of us bring.

Yesterday, I arrived at the office with a few trinkets – items found and made over the years.

As I unpacked and added these small treasures to the office decor, I felt a sense of gratitude – and it hit me. These earthly little treasures we find on our lives adventures are part of our sacred journey – and as we collect them and find places for them to live in our homes or our work spaces – we are essentially creating little altars to remind ourselves of where we’ve been.

Not only do they remind us where we’ve been, they also provide comfort to us as we navigate our current path – allowing the wisdom we’ve gained of the past to speak to us in the present as we collaborate, make decisions, and execute our plans in the present.

Each item brings meaning, color, and whimsy to the office – helping us mindfully embrace Abundance Living to the fullness.

May you find joy and Abundance and have a wonder-filled weekend!
